What the plan does to your school
Minneapolis Public Schools has proposed three options. Search your school to see what happens to it under each one, in the district's own words, with the source for every number.
Reading this page
17 schools, campuses or programs close in at least one option. Far more schools receive students or get a new attendance boundary. If your school is not on the closure list, the plan can still change your classroom, your feeder pattern or your building's enrollment.
Sources: MPS options pages [MPS], the Sept 15, 2026 presentation [slides 6, 25, 81, 82], building capacity from MPS building reports [MPS], and enrollment from the state's official Oct 1, 2025 count [MDE]. The district's presentation uses Oct 2024 counts throughout.
